Black Box Fire & Security maximises industry expertise with senior management restructure

Black Box Fire & Security has announced a restructure of its senior management team focusing on business development as the firm continues to grow.
The Lancashire firm has provided fire and security solutions to residential, commercial and public sector clients in the UK for over 40 years and has seen strong business growth, while retaining its personalised approach to its large client base.
The team shares over 90 years in the industry with several long serving members. The strategic focus of each senior position will shift focus as the company continues to expand.
Sam Robinson, the new Head of Sales & Design, will head the team of five people. Robinson has been with Black Box for over 21 years. Ian Sutton, another long serving member of the team with 25 years at Black Box, is the new Head of Operations. Andrew Millett, with 19 years of experience, is the new Head of Service looking after client relationships for some of the business’ long-standing clients.
David Barnes, Managing Director, said, “we are growing the business year-on-year, with ambitious plans for the coming years in the industry.
“The restructure will provide renewed strategic focus on the key elements of the company and maximises the industry experience of the senior management team who are committed to growth and the continued values of excellence in customer service and consistency in both delivery and budgets.
“It’s great to have such an experienced team. The length of service of each individual is testament to the strong culture at Black Box and the wider support team, all of whom are a pivotal part in our continued growth.”
Black Box started over 40 years ago as a family business based in the North West. It has grown over the years through customer recommendations built on trust and strong commercial relationships, some of which are over 25 years old. With a team of over 30 specialists, it has built a strong reputation in the industry.
