Carrenza first UK organisation to achieve PCI DSS 3.1
Cloud services provider Carrenza becomes the first UK organisation to hold the latest, most secure version of the global Payment Card Industry data security standard.
Carrenza, the cloud services provider, has become the first organisation in the UK to achieve the Level 1 Service Provider assessment level for version 3.1 of the PCI Data Security Standard, the global payment industry’s top data security standard.
The PCI Security Standards Council published a new version of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard in April this year as part of its ongoing efforts to regulate and secure the payment industry and Carrenza, who provide cloud services to the UK Government, Financial Services and a number of global retailers, is the first UK cloud service provider to pass the PCI-DSS audit at this level.
Dan Sutherland, CEO and founder of Carrenza, says: “The fact that we’ve achieved PSI DSS version 3.1 is testament to robust security of our management systems and it enables us to design for our customers a PCI compliant version of our Enterprise Cloud offering for them to meet their existing and future security needs.”
Carrenza will look to work with its existing customers and prospects to design PCI-DSS compliant systems for them within the scope of the new management systems audited by the PCI-DSS auditors.
