China Homelife Dubai 2016 held at the Dubai World Trade Centre

China Homelife Dubai 2016 was open to visitors at the Dubai World Trade Centre. At a grand opening ceremony, H.E. Majid Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, formally inaugurated the exhibition that has 1500 exhibitors showcasing over 70,000 products over a period of three days.

Also present at the opening of the largest China sourcing platform in the Middle East was Li Lingbing, Consul General, Consulate of China in Dubai and Guo Ping, Director of Hangzhou Municipal Commission of Commerce China.

The exhibition which is open until December 7 will have dedicated sections for manufacturers and suppliers in textile & garments, furniture, home electronics, building materials, lighting and household articles & gifts.

With some of the most well renowned manufacturers choosing to be a part of the exhibition, the event has grown in stature and reliance over the last 7 years. Exhibitors have recognized the importance of the regional implications of their participation as well as understand the strong business hub that Dubai has grown into.

The opportunities presented move further than the Middle East with additional scope for re-export into North Africa and Asia.The growing numbers of targeted visitors has also played an important role in encouraging on-going and new exhibitors to build on their business potential at China Homelife Dubai.

The exhibition organizers have strategically worked to build on the services which include a Match-Making programme that helps in connecting the exhibitors with targeted potential visitors in a dedicated area. This is supported by skilled and professional interpreters who are able to tackle communication gaps. Alongside this, exhibitors are also assured of extremely targeted visitors that are chosen and hosted from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Lebanon, this year there are 1300 hosted visitors. It is an exclusive service provided to top buyers who represent several large business houses and organizations with senior executives visiting the exhibition and have direct purchasing authority. The exhibition will also run seminars and workshops that will present educational sessions which will help in making strategic business decisions.

For the second year in a row, the textile and garment exhibitors were able to showcase the current trends through five well choreographed fashion shows on the opening day. Many exhibitors took the opportunity to highlight their creativity and showcase their developments in textiles as well as lay focus on current and future garment collections. The regional fashion industry is growing at an extremely fast pace, and seizing the opportunity, select exhibitors launched their 2017 collections.

China Homelife Dubai Exhibition is supported by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Dubai. The three day exhibition is open for visitors from 10 am to 6pm at Shaikh Saeed Hall at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
