D-Link roadshows to help physical security and IT resellers

D-Link has announced it is hosting a series of nationwide ‘on the road’ events to help physical security integrators, installers and IT resellers understand the IP Surveillance market opportunity better – and how they can grow their business in this area.

A blend of market intelligence, demonstrations of the latest hardware and software and hands-on training, the events will focus particularly on the infrastructure required to deliver a robust security solution. As one of the few vendors that can offer the complete end-to-end IP solution, both in terms of the infrastructure required and the hands-on support needed to help resellers deliver it, D-Link is perfectly positioned to demonstrate the opportunities available in this rapidly growing marketplace.

On show will be an array of network switches, ranging from unmanaged and smart switches, to fully managed devices, including Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Auto Surveillance VLAN. A broad range of IP cameras for all applications will be demonstrated, as will storage solutions such as D-Link’s JustConnect NVR – a single unit comprising an NVR and PoE switch that simplifies IP-based installations. D-Link will also demonstrate the free D-ViewCam™ Video Management Software (VMS) that enables users to manage multiple cameras for businesses centrally, along with the multi-NVR viewer software that offers a comprehensive video display, storage and management solution.

Andrew Mulholland, Business Solutions Manager at D-Link UK & Ireland, commented, “D-Link sees great value in using roadshows to talk to resellers, installers, integrators and consultants alike about the IP opportunities presented by this increasingly digital market. D-Link’s end-to-end IP solutions are applicable across numerous vertical industries, including education, hospitality, leisure and retail – areas where we have traditionally been very strong as an organisation. In order to meet the growing demand for D-Link solutions, we are actively seeking to develop existing relationships as well as establish mutually profitable new partnerships.”

The IP roadshows will be hosted at the following locations:

29th April- Nottingham- Colwick Hill Hotel

6th May- Manchester- Chill Factore

20th May- London- D-Link HQ

24th June- Leicester- Marriott Hotel

2nd July- Leeds- Royal Armouries
