Darktrace Royally Rewarded for Innovation

Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, is delighted to announce it is one of the select businesses to win the 2016 Queen’s Award for Enterprise – the UK’s highest accolade for business success. This hugely prestigious award for Enterprise in Innovation celebrates Darktrace’s pioneering approach to cyber security.
Darktrace will attend a special reception at Buckingham Palace this summer to receive the award which recognizes the company’s outstanding business achievement. Now with over 1000 deployments worldwide, 230 employees and 144 partners, Darktrace is one of the fastest-growing cyber defense companies with its innovative solution; the Enterprise Immune System.
As organizations’ networks become more sophisticated, so too do the attacks they face and traditional tools are quickly becoming outdated and inefficient. Powered by machine learning and mathematics developed by specialists from the University of Cambridge and intelligence from former MI5 and GCHQ experts, Darktrace’s self-learning technology is able to monitor network activity and detect threats, as they develop, which helps companies get ahead of the threats.
“In this new era of threat with nation states, criminal gangs and even unwitting employees compromising critical data and systems, organizations need to be more alert than ever,” said Nicole Eagan, CEO at Darktrace. “We hope that this tremendous award will amplify our call for organizations to think more intelligently about their cyber security and bring machine learning to the forefront. To be credited by world governments and now The Queen reflects our unprecedented success to date and invigorates our ambition for the future.”
