DDI technology vendor EfficientIP comes of age at IPExpo

DDI technology vendor EfficientIP comes of age at IPExpo with ten-fold growth in turnover by consistently beating rivals on innovation and performance

EfficientIP, a leading developer of DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP services, VLAN and IP-address management), highlighted the company’s success at this year’s IPExpo Europe. In less than six years, the company has increased turnover to €12 million and now employs over 100 staff across global operations that span Europe, Middle East, North America and Asia Pacific regions.

3 Mobile is the latest mobile network operator to switch from Infoblox’s legacy system to EfficientIP’s lower cost, more powerful solution and joins a wealth of telecommunications, banking, education and other public sector organisations that have benefited from EfficientIP’s technology.

Highlights in the company’s growth include:

• Technology research provider, Nucleus Research, highlighted 55 percent return on investment for major UK University upgrading to EfficientIP – with payback in less than one year
• DNS Guardian launched with unique patented innovation, that separates the two DNS functions to ensure full DNS service availability
• DNS Blast launched as first solution to support 17 million queries per second – 60 times more than competitor solutions
• Engagement partnership agreement signed with Tori Global, independent business transformation practitioners, to give financial services organisations the unique combination of consulting skills and DDI technology solutions.

David Williamson, CEO of EfficientIP, said:

“Europe represents over 60 percent of our business, so IPExpo is the ideal platform to showcase our solutions and demonstrate the returns and cost-savings we can deliver over and above the more established players. We will continue to roll-out an aggressive global strategy to ensure our customers receive the high level of local service they demand and deserve.”

EfficientIP’s UK & Ireland Director, Scott Breadmore, presented “No DNS, No Internet, No Business: protect your DNS from attacks and secure your business” on Wednesday 7th October in the IPExpo Network & Cloud Infrastructure Theatre. Many visited the EfficientIP on Stand JJ16 to receive a free DNS Security Pack and enjoy a bottle of DNS Blast Beer. Many also entered the exciting Blast game (also known as the Neuron race) to test how fast they are against the World’s Fastest DNS Server!
