Free seminar offers expert advice on access control
Security experts will share the latest advice and information about controlling risks and liabilities with access control at a free half-day seminar for local businesses, on 12 April 2016 at Villa Park in Birmingham.
Organised by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) – the trade body representing the UK’s private security industry – the event will showcase developments in the access and asset protection sector.
Expert speakers will offer insights into best practice in all areas of access control, from protecting business assets and reducing liability, to useful technical information focused on system design and installation.
Steve Bailes, Gallagher UK Business Development Manager, is confirmed as one of the speakers at the conference. Steve will share how integrated access control can help businesses achieve greater efficiencies, based on his experience over seven years with Gallagher.
“Businesses need to go beyond traditional thinking with security,” says Steve.
“By using access control to enforce site compliance policy, incorporate health and safety and communicate at the point of entry, companies can reduce some of their greatest sources of operational risk and cost.”
Attendees will also have the chance to raise their own questions with Steve and other members of the expert panel, which includes speakers with a wide range of security backgrounds: Stephen Halpin (Four Security Group); James Fee (VPS); Mike Sussman (TDSi) and Ged Baron (Peninsula UK).
The event also includes a free lunch and stadium tour of Villa Park with unrestricted access to the pitch and changing rooms.
Full programme and registration information is available at www.bsia.co.uk/events.aspx.
