When the going gets tough, the GPM team get in the rally car and drive!

Graeme Powell Marketing rally carWhen Graeme Powell Marketing (GPM) is not busy looking after customer brand building with its range of competitively priced PR and marketing services, regular SecurityNewsDesk readers will know that the company also compete in UK forest rally events, with a Ford Escort MkII RS2000 rally car.

Last weekend the GPM Rally Team contested the Tour of Hamsterley rally in County Durham. An interesting challenge for the 99 crews taking part, the conditions were very slippy and rough, with varying weather. The rally’s 7 stages, consisting 6 inside the Hamsterley Forest complex and one other in the grounds of Raby Castle estate presented a real challenge.

Finishing the daylong event, along with their rally team service and preparation partner, Lessian Motors, GPM managed to finish 2nd in class and 21st overall – a really great result for the entire team!
