Graeme Powell Marketing (GPM), the specialist security products PR & Marketing company contested their first rally of the new season on Sunday 20th February, with a resounding success.
Piloting the GPM Escort MkII RS2000 on the Riponian Rally, which consisted of 12 forest stages within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Graeme Powell, GPM’s Director, battled against 80 other crews, to finish first in class.
“Out of the 80 cars that started the event, just 45 cars managed to finish, proving that the rally was a real test of man and machine over the mixture of muddy, wet and at times, deeply rutted gravel stages,” said Powell. “I’m very pleased with this opening result, it’s due in no small part to the many of hours of work that has gone into the preparation of the car and commitment of the GPM team.
