Grosvenor Technology launches Sateon 2.9 Access Control System

Electronic security solutions provider Grosvenor Technology has launched an upgraded version of its popular browser-based access control system Sateon.

Sateon 2.9 has been designed to make interaction and administration even easier for end users; and to assist integrators with opening up new opportunities in the offline lock market.

Improved user interaction will be achieved via a Personnel Hub – which allows end users to manage personnel, token and department data with ease. Sateon 2.9 will also feature a new ‘Faces’ module, enabling photo verification for personnel as they progress through the workplace – a valuable feature that offers an additional layer of security in environments where temporary security staff are commonly employed.

Clear and concise dialogue fields will highlight any reasons why access is not permitted, ensuring that security personnel can take appropriate action in a quicker time frame; while an auto-logout feature offers additional security for users who have not used their device for a period of time.

Integrators will benefit from the upgraded Sateon 2.9, as Grosvenor Technology is ensuring that the product opens up opportunities in the rapidly developing offline wireless market. Sateon 2.9 integrates with the SALTO Pro Access database to provide a single view of all locks, users and access; meaning that systems integrators can benefit from decreased time and cost typically associated with installing hard-wired projects.

“At Grosvenor Technology we are committed to both giving the end user the best possible product experience, and to supporting our integrators and helping them develop their business,” commented Andy Rainforth, Sales and Marketing Director.

“Our Sateon 2.9 upgrade is a perfect example of this – it demonstrates that we continue to constantly evolve our offer and ensure that we provide first class access control solutions.”
