Grundig’s new generation of LED backlight monitors

grundigGrundig’s new, Full HD, flat-screen monitor range has been designed specifically for professional, 24/7 surveillance applications.

The monitors include two HDMI ports. The first port is optimized for video display, making the monitors ideal for use with DVRs and NVRs. The second port is optimized for PC use and is ideal for video management software applications using client PC’s, workstations and servers.

Anti-reflective, acrylic glass keeps images sharp and the panel scratch-free. This has been combined with LED backlight technology, which increases contrast levels and the darkness of black levels. As a result, the screen images appear natural and accurate to the eye.

The monitors are in 16:9 format and come in two sizes, 21.5” or 23.6”. Further connections include audio and BNC IN / OUT.

LED backlight technology provides a significant reduction in the cost of ownership over CCFL flat screens. A 35% drop in power consumption can be expected and, with a MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) of 100,000 hours, the operating life of the monitors can be over 10 years.

Advanced image enhancement technology includes a 3D comb filter and decoder to reduce ghost imaging. Built-in de-interlacing, noise reduction, PIP (picture-in-picture) and PBP (picture-by-picture) operation give great surveillance flexibility.
