Heald Ltd listed in top 10 UK companies for intellectual property
Security and counter-terror manufacturing firm, Heald Ltd are pleased to confirm they have been recognised for their commitment to intellectual property in the Metis Partners IP100 League Table.
Listed in sixth place of The IP 100 Club, Heald Ltd are among the country’s top performing businesses that have been highly commended for leading the way in promoting a culture of innovation and intellectual property creation in the UK.
Heald Ltd design and manufacture hostile vehicle mitigation systems that protect high profile properties around the world. From their headquarters in East Yorkshire, the firm create innovative, award-winning products that safeguard embassies, palaces, stadia, oil refineries, banks and much more.
The firm are now positioned in an exclusive network of IP-savvy organisations that place IP at the heart of their operations. The judging process was based on the assessment of five IP asset classes – Brand & Reputation, Patents, Critical Databases, Software and Trade Secrets.
The news follows a very successful start to the year for Heald who have been shortlisted in seven separate business awards; most recently the UK National Awards for Export which seeks to celebrate the UK companies that are making significant contributions to economic growth.
Additional triumphs last month include two award wins with the Northern Power Women and the Yorkshire Business Leaders Awards.
