Hochiki Europe gains momentum in India

Hochiki Europe, the leading manufacturer of life safety solutions, is celebrating further success in India with the opening of a new office as announced at the recent Fire India event in New Delhi.

Located in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR), the office will help to establish a dedicated sales and training base in the country. Staff numbers currently total six, with plans to increase the team in the coming months.

The office opening will also mean Hochiki Europe can now deliver improved account handling and faster technical support to customers within India’s time zones and others close by.

Rohit Harjani, India country manager at Hochiki Europe, said: “India is one of the world’s fastest growing world economies, meaning its approach to fire safety provisions is moving more in-line with worldwide regulatory standards.

“This new office will help us continue to deliver reliable and easy to use solutions across India, with the help of our established network of sales managers.”

The new India opening follows the successful fire safety system installation for the Yamaha motorcycle factory in Chennai, India. The vast 147,450m2 site now features Hochiki Europe’s Photoelectric Smoke Sensors, Water-Proof Heat Detectors, Weather-Proof Sounders and Weather-Proof Manual Call Points.
