IBITGQ appoints 3SC technologies as first ATO in Middle East

ibitgqThe International Board for IT Governance Qualifications (IBITGQ) announces the appointment of 3SC Technologies, a division of 3SC World, as the first IBITGQ Accredited Training Organisation located in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region.

3SC Technologies is a leading IT outsourcing service provider and technology consultancy focussed on delivering services to client organisations in the MENA region. The company plans to deliver IBITGQ Approved Training Courses and Examinations to delegates based in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

3SC Technologies has successfully applied and passed the strict entry requirements of the IBITGQ ATO scheme and has been awarded Conditional Accreditation pending its final approval by the IBITGQ Board in the next few months. Upon this approval, 3SC Technologies are accredited to deliver a range of courses and exams which include the following:

  • ISO27001 Certified ISMS Foundation (CIS F)
  • ISO27001 Certified ISMS Lead Implementer (CIS LI)
  • ISO27001 Certified ISMS Lead Auditor (CIS LA)
  • ISO27005 Certified ISMS Risk Management (CIS RM)
  • ISO22301 Certified BCMS Foundation (CBC F)
  • ISO22301 Certified BCMS Lead Implementer (CBC LI)
  • ISO22301 Certified BCMS Lead Auditor (CBC LA)

Nora Clifford, Chair of the IBITGQ Accreditation Panel, confirmed, ‘I am delighted that 3SC Technologies has become our first Accredited Training Organisation in the Middle East. IBITGQ ATO’s are selected on the basis of their ability to provide the highest quality training delivered by experienced trainers. They must be able to deliver the content of the IBITGQ course syllabus and prepare delegates to take and pass the official IBITGQ exam. The selection of the ISO27001 information security and ISO22301 business continuity courses by 3SC Technologies has demonstrated their commitment to the future development of IT governance professionals in their region.”
