IDIS Launches Range of Ultra HD Cameras and Monitors

idis monitorsConfirming its position as a world leading, dedicated surveillance powerhouse, IDIS launched a new range of monitors and cameras, further extending its DirectIP one-stop-shop surveillance solution at this year’s IFSEC International at London’s ExCel.

End-to-end designed and manufactured by IDIS, the extensive range of 32 to 98-inch full-HD and Ultra High-Definition monitors suit a wide range of security applications for businesses large or small. The range features superior image quality, rugged metal chasses, less image sticking, anti-glare and active backlit control for consistent brightness with a versatile selection of interfaces.

Cementing a commitment to lead technological advances in surveillance monitoring, the new line up introduces the world’s largest security monitor at 98-inches, plus the world’s narrowest 3.6mm bezel to bezel 55-inch video wall. The new range is simple to install and delivers the durability and reliability IDIS customers have to come to expect, including a five year life of 24/7 operation and industry-leading low power consumption, up to 30 per cent lower than competitive models.

Also launched during IFSEC, new 4k cameras utilise unrivalled 30 images per second performance with no visible network latency—extending DirectIP’s signature image quality to four times the resolution of full-HD. Inviting visitors at IFSEC to the ultimate surveillance experience, IDIS demonstrated how and why DirectIP is the most comprehensive networked surveillance available to the marketplace.

Commenting on the extended DirectIP™ range, Greg Kulesza, IDIS Europe, Technical Manager, said, “UHD and 4k technology presents a huge leap forward in quality and resolution, especially for users of legacy analogue CCTV. With our range of monitors, we further extend our one-stop-shop philosophy by offering customers everything required to build a cost-effective and powerful—yet simple to install—networked and full-HD surveillance solution.”

Implemented globally by businesses large and small across a wide range of markets, DirectIP delivers a fast return on investment through low cost of ownership and operational efficiency. Packaged as an end-to-end solution, comprising a range of cameras, monitors, network video recorders (NVR) and comprehensive video management software, DirectIP solutions deliver unrivalled plug-and-play simplicity, combined with highest-quality performance and reliability.
