Todd Research, a global expert in threat detection X-ray equipment for safety and security, is excited to be presenting its high-resolution TR15 cabinet X-ray scanner and accompanying e-learning program for operators at Intersec 2022 in Dubai. This international exhibition, from the 16-18 January, provides the ideal platform for Todd Research to reconnect, collaborate and share insights with other security businesses, to continue its purpose-designed path of building a safer and more secure present and future.
Visitors to the Todd Research stand will discover the latest generation TR15 X-ray scanner, with an impressive ability to detect as little as three grams of powder for an enhanced level of detection. It also includes options for a unique ‘Callmy’ emergency messaging service, an innovative solution allowing quick and easy emergency contact with first responders for remote decision-making. Also on the stand will be detailed information about the larger TR40 scanner, offering a new benchmark of threat detection and image management for compact cabinet scanners.
Any scanner is only as good as its operator. It is critical for users to be adequately trained and equipped with the knowledge to methodically identify potential threats, however, the COVID-19 pandemic has meant conventional face-to-face training being put on hold. The new e-learning program from Todd Research addresses this issue, allowing users to undertake this experience remotely on a PC or hand-held device. It has been carefully designed to make learning easy, interactive and more accessible, and culminates in a visual test of the operator’s understanding and cognisance.
Founded in 1950, Todd Research has a proud history of designing, manufacturing and supplying X-ray scanners, metal detectors and blast suppression equipment across a diverse range of public and private market channels.
