Joint Security Associations fundraise for charity

I have just accepted an invitation to attend the first ever dinner of the Joint Security Associations Fundraising Event 2014. I’ll be joining ASIS UK on one of their tables but in addition to ASIS, there are four other associations involved in creating this worthwhile event: the International Professional Security Association, The Security Institute, ADS Group and the City of London Crime Prevention Association.

Together these five membership groups are seeking to raise £40,000 for two charities: The St Giles Trust and PTSD Resolution.

Tickets are £107 which includes a pre-dinner networking drinks reception, a four-course dinner with wine and a free £20 ticket for the prize raffle. There will be live music during dinner and guest speakers who are experts in their field.

Join the professional security community for what should be a fun evening and help raise money for two very worthy charities.

Tickets can be purchased through one of the organisations involved or from the Eventbrite website.

The event was announced in May by the Chairman of The Security Institute, Emma Shaw, at the Counter Terror Expo.
