Kaba and Bodet Software enter into a partnership agreement

kabaBodet Software, Europe’s leading publisher and integrator of software solutions for time and attendance management, and Kaba, one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of time and attendance management terminals, are combining their expertise to establish a European partnership.

Bodet Software designs and integrates software solutions for time and attendance management and human resources planning. As the leader in its field with the Kelio software suite, the publisher has more than 30,000 customers worldwide. “Our software suite is not only translated into ten languages; more importantly, it is adapted to the legislation of 14 countries. Today, we are the only publisher of job costing management solutions in the market to offer this concrete knowledge of deploying such systems in Europe,” says Richard Manby, Managing Director of Bodet Ltd.

Kaba’s “Beyond Security” strategy governs the group’s activities, enabling it to offer a wide range of access control and workforce management solutions, combined with mechanical and electronic locking systems, to clients in key verticals. These meet strategic customer requirements in terms of security, flexibility and integration.

Bodet Software and Kaba have decided to join forces to develop their business activities in Europe. This partnership enables both organisations to combine their expertise in offering workforce management systems that deliver cost-effective business solutions across all market sectors.

Combining Kaba terminals and Bodet Software applications for a comprehensive solution

Bodet Software is particularly well established in the United Kingdom, France, Benelux and Southern Europe, “Bodet Software has had an international presence for more than 20 years. Since the early 1990s, subsidiaries have been set up in the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland,” adds Richard Manby.

“We created this partnership agreement because we have a mutual desire to grow our respective business activities in Europe. The goal of both companies is to co-operate in the long term through a win-win partnership. Kaba solutions are renowned for their quality and are integrated with the major ERPs on the market,” says Philippe Barjhoux, Kaba’s Alliance Manager.

Prior to this partnership, the technical teams of both companies were required to work together on a common project. Today, the result of this is a turnkey time and attendance management solution aimed at the international market (available in SaaS mode or under a license). It includes the Kaba time and attendance management terminals, interfaced directly with Bodet Software’s Kelio solutions.

As a specialist manufacturer, Kaba compliments the Bodet Kelio solution by offering high quality and reliable data capture terminals. A continuing strategy of backwards compatibility protects both partners and their client’s investment for the long term should they choose to upgrade, replace or add hardware in the future.

Thanks to the user-friendly and secure information entered into the Kaba terminals and transmitted to the Kelio software, this solution provides Human Resources with reliable data regarding time worked. This information is essential for keeping track of labour costs and their financial impact.

John Hardman, Software Partner Channel Manager at Kaba Ltd commented, “With Bodet we are working with a business partner that shares Kaba’s philosophy of delivering high quality and reliable solutions to the market. We are looking forward to developing this partnership and maximising the opportunities that this collaboration will bring”.
