Lock8.io RFID tracking and monitoring system to debut at Intersec 2017

Lock8.io RFID tracking and monitoring system to debut at Intersec 2017

PROZETA, a pioneer in cloud, security and data center technology, has announced the worldwide release of “Lock8.io”, a new security approach leveraging the best of RFID standards. Lock8.io is a cutting-edge tracking & monitoring system utilising active tag and enhanced software-based analytics, bringing the ability to track people or goods within a secured area to a wide range of use from retail, logistics and facility management to military and law enforcement.

Developed in cooperation with close technology partners, PROZETA noted its integrated security platform offered the highest accuracy on the market, and expressed confidence it would be a boon to meeting the growing demand from security sectors in the Middle East for a simpler, more robust solution.

A live demo of Lock8 will take place during the upcoming Exhibition “Intersec 2017”, to be held January 22-24 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

PROZETA invites attendees to join the event, to be staged at area D.24 in Hall SA
Lock8.io is a comprehensive tracking solution that uses active tags with embedded sensors. Security systems using Lock8.io can track people or goods equipped with a tag in the selected areas covered by base units. Optional sensors enable customers to track and record over 20 different metrics, ranging from object orientation and shock detection to climate conditions and biometrics data such as heart rate. Tags can report their state on-demand or continuously, with selectable rate up to once per second. Bidirectional communication enables tags to carry device notifications, alarms or control other devices.

Lock8.io’s special features include support for high tag-density environments, protection from jamming and shielding, biometric sensor support, fully encrypted communication and IoT systems compliance.

PROZETA’s Managing Director, Jiri Purs, noted that “counter to industry trends, Lock8.io was built with the idea that while software is key, hardware is a must. We didn’t want just a ‘me-too’ platform, but something truly next generation using the latest technology. And we succeeded.”

Also during Intersec 2017, the company will highlight its “Tier5” secure cloud solution and together with partner company Z.L.D. present its perimeter security products.

Mr. Purs added:

“We’re looking forward to this year’s Intersec – it’s a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with a variety of potential users and partners from the Middle East, and with our new Tier5 and Lock8.io product lines, we have a much more compelling vision for handling growing cloud and security demands.”
