Redvision, manufacturer of the rugged X-SERIES™ PTZ and dome cameras, is pleased to announce the appointment of its new general manager, Mark Ryder.
Redvision is rapidly growing in the UK and Europe; launching a new IP X-SERIES™ range over summer; and moving into larger premises to accommodate its increased production requirements and larger staff team.
Mark Ryder explains, “My operational responsibilities include the effective manufacture of the current X-SERIES™ PTZ and dome camera range. This includes the modular production of cameras with wiper, IR light, Dual Light and optical zoom variances; all accessories and mounts and bespoke colours and marine finishes and marine finish upgrade option. I am also responsible for the launch of the IP X-SERIES™ over summer, which will increase production demands and has necessitated our expansion into larger premises.”
Mark brings original and innovative ideas to his new role as a result of his industrial and commercial experience. Having trained as a mechanical engineer, Mark cut his teeth working for the multinational pneumatics manufacturer Norgren. He soon moved into a technical operations management role, overseeing the manufacture of bespoke control systems. He gained his commercial experience at NTL / Virgin Media, working initially in a sales role and then as an account director.

His commercial and technical expertise will be invaluable to Redvision and he will be instrumental in driving our expanding business forward. Mark’s appointment allows me to operate in a chairman capacity, focusing on new product development and the future of the company.”
Mark is a keen sportsman who participates in cycling and skiing. He is pleased to be playing a significant part in one of the UK’s most rapidly expanding security companies.
