Mitsubishi launches new UNB LCD at InfoComm MEA

Mitsubishi Electric will launch its latest LCD videowall display at Infocomm MEA. The new LM55 P2 is an advanced ultra-narrow bezel (UNB) LCD display designed for compact control rooms requiring a cost-effective visualisation solution that delivers a near seamless display.

With a combined bezel width of just 3.5mm, the LM55 P2 is among the narrowest bezel LCD displays in its class and at the limit of current LCD display technology. The 55” displays deliver Full HD resolution, and when combined in a 2 x 2 configuration, create a compact 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) display with only a single mullion vertically and horizontally. This makes the LM55 P2 an ideal system where high resolution images need to be viewed across the entire display, such as surveillance, process or traffic monitoring.

A built-in Display Port™ 1.2a input terminal allows individual displays to be daisy-chained via a standard Display Port cable to create displays of up to 5 x 5 configuration with no external processing required. Multiple inputs can be displayed simultaneously on the screen. Additional versatility is afforded by the optional OPS slot. A new VC-LM1HD option supports HDCP long-distance transmission of up to 100m when using the CAT5e cable.

The new UNB displays will join an impressive line-up of control room displays and digital CCTV systems on the Mitsubishi Electric stand at InfoComm MEA 2015. Highlighted will be the popular 60HS12 “Slim Cube” offering Full HD performance in a compact, front-access format, alongside the 120 Series and its flagship Seventy Series displays. Mitsubishi Electric’s unique air-cooled LED projection employing DLP™ technology delivers true 24 hour, 365 day operation, and a lifespan of up to 100,000 maintenance-free hours for minimal cost of ownership.

CCTV systems on show at InfoComm MEA will include the new 5000 Series network video recorder and its 7000 Series network cameras, available as indoor box and dome types, and as an IP66-rated outdoor unit. All cameras in the 7000 Series offer Full HD resolution H.264 video over IP and exceptional dynamic range. When used in conjunction with the 5000 Series NVR, advanced processing techniques deliver a strikingly high image quality, even when the subject is strongly backlit or moving rapidly. The 5000 Series NVR can power up to 16 of the 7000 Series cameras over the network (PoE), expandable up to 32.

The Mitsubishi Electric booth at InfoComm MEA 2015 can be found at TA-A15.
