MuxLab Inc. is excited to release its LongReach HD-SDI Extenders. Live demos of the MuxLab extenders can be seen at the NAB Show in Las Vegas at booth # SU11914.
The new extenders transmit HD-SDI signal over Cat5e/6 cable up to 500ft, adding an additional 170 feet to the current versions of the extenders.
The LongReach HD-SDI Extender Kit (model 500702) features LED diagnostics for sync, signal detect and supports transmission of up to 2.97/3.0 Gbps uncompressed, un-encrypted digital video within television facilities and between professional video equipment.
The LongReach HD-SDI to HDMI Extender Kit (model 500716) converts HD-SDI to HDMI and then transmits it up to 500 feet via Cat5e/6 cable at all resolutions in a point-to-point configuration.
Daniel Assaraf, MuxLab’s President, states “these new extenders are the latest additions to our existing range of broadcast products and increase MuxLab’s line of structured cabling solutions for the broadcast market”.

MuxLab HD-SDI extenders now range in distance from 330 ft / 100m up to 500 ft / 150m.
