New logistics centre to cope with record CSL shipments

A brand new CSL logistics centre will serve as a hub to support the growing demand for the UK’s fastest selling signalling services, such as Installers’ favourite, the DualCom GradeShift range.

CSL have also seen a recent upsurge in demand for CSL Communications services; the new addition to the CSL portfolio provides critical connectivity for a multitude of Machine-to-Machine applications.

The Wales-based operation has been designed to provide our customer-focused team with fantastic new facilities in order to continue the great work they already do. The accomplished team currently facilitate the guaranteed next day delivery of over 250 signalling devices every day.

This follows last year’s investment into a purpose built Network Operations Centre (NOC), making CSL the only Platform as a Service provider to utilise such a facility. The NOC houses the dedicated Network Team who support the DualCom Gemini Managed Network. As the engine that powers DualCom signalling, Gemini is responsible for the integrity of hundreds of thousands of connections throughout Europe, managing over one billion calls a month.

More recently, CSL have utilised Gemini to provide Alarm Receiving Centres and Installers with a clever web portal, Gemini Insight. Installers and ARCs can use the interface to search their entire signalling base by grade, postcode, chip number or status. This helps to identify issues in the earliest possible instance, before becoming a problem for the end-user.
