Next Level Security Systems integrates with Digital Monitoring Products

Next Level Security Systems, a provider of a new breed of unified, networked security solutions, today announced a new integration between the company’s award-winning unified security management platform, and intrusion solutions from Digital Monitoring Products (DMP).

As a result of the integration, the NLSS Gateway will seamlessly communicate with DMP’s XR100/XR500 networked-based alarm and communication panels to further augment the Gateway’s access control, video surveillance, alarm management and intelligent video capabilities. Next Level’s integration with DMP alarm panels allows valuable intrusion sensor data to stream directly to the NLSS Gateway. Alarm information is then automatically correlated with other built-in functionalities including video surveillance. Together, video, access control and alarm data work in conjunction to identify and alert against potentially harmful activity including break-ins and tailgating. The networked-based infrastructure of the DMP and Next Level technologies streamlines installation time and limits complex management structures.

DMP XR100/XR500 Command Processor Panels™ are designed for a variety of applications, from SMB to enterprise-class security deployments and includes intrusion, fire and access control. The XR500 supports 32 areas and up to 10,000 user codes. Integration is supported in NLSS Gateway version 3.2 and later, and is available immediately.

“Support for DMP solutions is an essential step to providing customers with a comprehensive view of their entire security infrastructure,” said Bill Jacobs, Vice President of Access Control, Next Level Security Systems. “Our unified approach enables alerts from DMP panels to be managed and controlled through our intuitive user interface, leading to simpler configuration and management, and a higher return-on-investment.”

The NLSS Gateway delivers the significant advantages of unified security operations through a security management platform that combines video management, access control, video analytics and intrusion into a single, easy-to-use networked platform. The Gateway features 13 built-in video analytics, including forensic analytics, facial recognition and audio analytics, and multiple Gateways can be combined for distributive processing and a truly scalable solution.
