PandaLabs forecast more divergent attacks for 2015

Panda Security, The Cloud Security Company, has released their Special Report 2015 which includes not only their predictions for the cyber-crime landscape in 2015 but also reviews some of the most notorious breaches throughout the year.

2013 was the year in which most malware ever was created. 2014 has beaten this record by a long way and it is set to continue growing in 2015. PandaLabs see more of this malware will be directed towards specific targets and devices with their forecast covering:

  • Ransomware
  • Targeted attacks
  • POS terminals
  • APTs
  • IoT devices
  • Smartphones

The PandaLabs review of some of the most prominent and prolific breaches throughout 2014 comprises of organisations across the global and shows nobody is immune to attack and security can always be improved.
