Partnership by iWelcome and Identity Methods facilitates cloud platform integration

iWelcome, a leading European provider of private cloud IDaaS platforms, has announced a strategic partnership with Identity Methods. The partnership will allow iWelcome’s private cloud platform to integrate seamlessly with Identity Method’s offering to ensure organisations can manage their identity lifecycle, profiles and the access rights of their customers, employee’s and business partners in a user friendly and secure manner, ensuring data security.

With a strong foothold across Europe this latest strategic partnership will provide greater scope to extend the footprint across the UK and increase data security. The new agreement allows Identity Methods customers and prospects to access the most complete set of Identity Management solutions and receive local support through an established service channel.

The latest research from the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF) revealed that the overall Cloud platform adoption rate in the UK today stands at 88%, with 67% of users expecting to increase their adoption of cloud platform services over the coming year.

Conducted in February 2017, the research, which polled 250 senior IT and business decision-makers from both the public and private sectors, showed an increase of 5% since last year. Since the first research was conducted in 2010, the overall UK Cloud platform adoption rate has grown by 83%.

“As we can see from the statistics, there’s huge potential in the UK for cloud services,” said Seema Jassal, UK lead for iWelcome in the UK. “There is already a good awareness and knowledge of the benefits of the cloud among businesses in this market, so plenty of opportunities. We chose to work with Identity Methods as it is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable providers of IAM in the region, and is very keen to expand its cloud offering.”

Commenting on the new agreement with iWelcome, Ian Collard, CEO at Identity Methods said: “We were looking for an outstanding cloud product to offer to our customers, and chose iWelcome based on the key factors of the products’ privacy, scalability and security which is perfectly suited for our target audience. The partnership supports our strategy of growing our cloud solutions portfolio with best-in-class products helping us to maintain trust, reputation and drive take-up.”

iWelcome provides Identity & Access Management as-a-Service for frictionless privacy-protected consumer services and security-enabled workforce processes. iWelcome is the only European born Identity Platform – headquartered in Europe, backed by European investors and specifically serving customers doing business in Europe.

Identity Methods is a leading provider of Identity Management and Data Security solutions in the UK.
