Paxton ranked in the FT1000 – list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies

Paxton, the UK market leader of electronic IP access control and door entry solutions, has been ranked in the inaugural Financial Times 1000, which compiles the list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies.

The league table, published in cooperation with Statista, lists the 1,000 companies in Europe that have achieved the highest percentage growth in revenues between 2012 and 2015.

Founded in 1985 by Tony Ratcliffe, now Group Chairman, Paxton employs over 300 people and operates mainly from its head office in Brighton, East Sussex, with several international sales offices. All products are manufactured locally at the Paxton factory in Eastbourne and exported to over 60 countries worldwide.

The company’s future growth plans include a turnover goal of £100million by 2020 and this summer it will open a new, 29,000sq ft. Technology Centre alongside its current Brighton head office, further increasing the investment Paxton can make into product development.

Adam Stroud (pictured top), CEO of the Paxton Group says: “We are delighted to feature in the FT1000, a list that highlights our continued growth in the global security market.

Over our 32 year history, we have grown from a small Sussex based company to a truly global business. We continue to enjoy significant international expansion which last year, included our move into Scandinavia, supplementing our existing European operations in Benelux, Germany and France.

We continue to spearhead the changing nature of the industry by diversifying and improving our product offering, creating products and solutions designed in line with our customers’ requirements.”

Paxton invest significantly in the free training and education of its installers across the world to ensure its products are sold and installed with confidence. Products are adapted to cater for the regional differences called for in the global market, and have simplicity designed in to ensure they are easy to install use and maintain. All purchases are backed by the company’s localised industry-leading technical support and 5-year guarantee.
