Paxton ranks 22nd as Best Large Company to Work For in the UK

Paxton, the international security technology manufacturer, ranks 22nd on the Best Companies to Work For List in the UK, and is named 1st in the Manufacturing sector. This is the company’s fifth time ranking in the Best Companies to Work For list, including being featured in The Sunday Times 100 list before.

Nicola O’Donnell, HR Director, Paxton, thanks everyone who took the time participating in the survey. She says: “We take part in the Best Companies survey to check in on how our people are feeling, what they like about our company, and what we can do to improve across the company.

“The achievement shows that our employees have a voice that is listened to and taken seriously, and that we are taking consistent steps to make positive changes.”

The ranking was evaluated based on employee surveys and affirms that Paxton are striving towards an outstanding workplace. It additionally gives an insight into areas they can improve to further enhance employee satisfaction and their position on the list in the years ahead.

Employees at Paxton expressed positive feedback on overall company values and culture. 95% of them believe they can make a valuable contribution to the success of Paxton, and 90% feel proud to work for the company. Overall, 88% of employees agree that Paxton is run on strong company values and principles, showing that employees resonate with the manufacturer’s vision.

The manufacturer focuses on creating a modern workplace and great company culture. They provide on-going training and annual budget for their employees’ career and personal development. They also organise a range of charitable initiatives every year, including fundraising for local charities via social games and competitions, and participating in the Dare to Dream mentoring programme.

Adam Stroud, Paxton’s CEO, said: “It’s an incredible ranking that we’ve achieved this year. The results reassure our ambition and continued efforts in being world-class in all that we do, from our products and services to work environment.

“Whilst a good business strategy and investment contribute to the success of the company, most important is the people that work at Paxton which make Paxton a top-ranking company. I’d like to thank all Paxton employees for their contribution in making Paxton a great and prosperous place to work.”
