Samsung has recently recruited Steffen Koenig to be its Regional Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) and Eastern Europe.
Steffen has worked within the electronic security industry for over 25 years. For the last seven years he has been General Manager for Vicon Deutschland GmbH and he has previously performed a senior sales and marketing role for videotronic infosystems gmbh,
As Regional Manager for DACH and Eastern Europe, Steffen will have the opportunity to capitalise on his extensive knowledge of local market conditions to develop and implement sales strategies which reflect the requirements of customers in each country. Reporting to Gary Rowden, Sales & Marketing Director of Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd, Steffen will work closely with the company’s Business Development and Account Managers in each country to ensure that the Samsung Smart Security philosophy is implemented to the benefit of customers throughout the region.
Smart Security is about how customers can upgrade from an analogue system to an IP and network based solution in the smartest way for their business. It also recognises the fact that producing ‘Best of Class’ products is not in itself a guarantee of success and that customers are entitled to expect exceptional value. This means offering solutions which are backed up by the highest levels of pre and post sales support.
