The Judges' Awards

At Security Buyer, we understand that excellence in the security industry takes many forms — from the innovation driving product development, to the frontline dedication of security personnel, to the strategic foresight of those leading policy, infrastructure, and operational resilience. The Security Buyer Awards 2025 are here to celebrate that full spectrum of achievement, recognising the companies, organisations, teams, individuals, and products that are redefining what success looks like in the global security landscape.

To ensure that all entries are assessed fairly, rigorously, and with the highest degree of integrity, we have assembled an external judging panel of esteemed experts drawn from across the global security sector. Each judge is carefully selected for their independent standing, deep expertise, and cross-disciplinary perspective.

We invite you to share your story and success with us. Submissions are open for free to companies and professionals from across the world — regardless of size, sector, or geography. This is your opportunity to gain global recognition, demonstrate leadership, and celebrate the impact your work is having in building a safer, more secure future.

The Judges

The Security Buyer Awards stand as a benchmark for excellence, integrity, and innovation in the global security sector. At the heart of this recognition is our independent judging panel, selected not only for their achievements, but for their dedication to advancing best practice across the entire security ecosystem.

Our judges represent a diverse cross-section of the industry — from physical security and cybersecurity to AI, systems interoperability, manufacturing, and frontline services. The panel includes respected thought leaders and practitioners from major security associations such as ASIS International, the Security Industry Association (SIA), IPSA, the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO), ONVIF, and the UK Security Commonwealth. Their collective expertise spans government advisory roles, DEI leadership, technology innovation, risk management, standards development, and operational implementation.

Together, they will be responsible for reviewing entries against set criteria, compiling shortlists, and ultimately recognising the individuals, teams, and companies that are setting new standards for excellence and innovation in the security sector. With their guidance, the Security Buyer Awards remain a trusted and authoritative voice in recognising industry achievement.
