Scotshield donates new Vauxhall to veterans’ charity Erskine

Leading Fire & Security firm Scotshield, in partnership with Vauxhall, is showing its charitable side by donating a brand new car to the veterans’ charity Erskine.

The donation is part of Scotshield’s ongoing charity commitment and will enable Erskine to use the Vauxhall Astra Active for a 12-month period.  The car is taxed and fully insured and the contribution to the charity, which is valued at £5,000, will be of great benefit to the organisation which cares for veterans.

Erskine, founded in 1916, is a Scotshield client with the company installing its fire systems and continuing to maintain the systems at its Bishopton, Erskine and Edinburgh homes.  Scotshield’s donation came about through its strong corporate social responsibility ethos which saw the ethical firm giving back to the charity.
