Security specialists will remember this November’s Global MSC Exhibition

Bosses at wireless video transmission specialist Vemotion are hailing this year’s Global MSC Security Conference and Exhibition held in Bristol as a great success as the firm stands poised on the brink of greater UK and global demand for its products and services. The Thirsk based group is now working with several new strategic partners, some of whom were also at the event; this contributed to delivering an even better response than expected, and has led to a welcome – if significantly increased – workload for the Vemotion team.

“We were able to do some great practical demonstrations of Vemotion at Global MSC for some blue chip delegates who are now serious potential new clients,” said Stewart McCone, CEO of Vemotion. “Seeing is really believing with Vemotion, and that truism is highlighted more than ever at these high profile trade shows where delegates really know their stuff. The fantastic response we’re are getting for Vemotion at the moment is more than we dared to hope for, with new clients lining up at home and abroad. It makes us all very busy but that is a nice problem to have!”

Held at The Bristol Hotel, the conference and exhibition delivered the perfect platform for Vemotion to demonstrate how the company is shaping much of tomorrow’s CCTV technology today and in addition to the demonstrations undertaken, Stewart himself is already booked in for another overseas trip as part of his follow up work on those wanting more of the Vemotion solution.

Vemotion has established a firm reputation for innovative wireless video transmission know-how capable of delivering live CCTV footage from almost any remote location. The technology means that CCTV cameras can be set up in isolated areas and transmit images back to a command centre anywhere in the world and what is more, doesn’t rely on a fast broadband connection to do so – the finest transmission architecture, without the need for fibre.

“We always believed that if we could just get people to see Vemotion for themselves, the system would sell itself and finally that belief if being realised,” added Stewart. “The security industry is a close knit group and word of mouth is now helping us to get our voices heard and more importantly our CCTV and video seen. It is more than just another wireless video solution, but unfortunately, that’s not something you can tell people – they do have to see for themselves.”

Those who have seen and believed in the technology include the Gendarmerie in France, who Vemotion has been working with for the last five years, plus assisting police chiefs make informed decisions using live video during everything from G20 Summits and D-Day Celebrations to the 2014 Commonwealth games.

Derek Maltby of Global MSC Security said:

“We were also impressed with the quality of the images demonstrated by the Vemotion equipment and are about to conduct a trial of the Vemotion solution in a real environment with one of its clients.”
