The Security Industry Association (SIA) is seeking qualified volunteers for its Education and Training Committee.
Members of SIA’s Education and Training Committee continue to raise the bar and ensure that SIA’s offerings are considered the standard for premier security industry education.
This standing committee is led by Chair Chris Peckham, Ph.D. (Ollivier Corporation) and Vice-Chair Rob Hile (GC&E Systems Group) with the assistance of SIA’s Director of Education and Training Elli Voorhees, Ph.D.
Volunteers on the committee will:
- Help shape future SIA’s education and training offerings to meet the professional needs of tomorrow’s workforce
- Ensure our educational content meets the highest quality standards and continues to be well-vetted, vendor-neutral and informative
- Guide established programs like these:
- Security Project Management training
- SIA Center of Excellence content
- Certification programs like the Certified Security Project Manager credential
- E-learning education modules like the “Microlearning” and “Cornerstones” series of courses
