Integrated Access Control and Security manufacturer TDSi announces it will be unveiling its new cloud-based GARDiSVU video management solution (VMS) at The Security Event 2023, which takes place from 25-27 April at the NEC Birmingham, UK. Appearing on Stand 4/G40, TDSi will also be giving visitors a chance to view its new GARDiS App in action, which enables security operators to securely control a wealth of different access control options from anywhere using a compatible iOS or Android device, as well as discussing the latest additions to the new version 2.5 of its powerful GARDiS software.
TDSi is gearing up for another busy appearance at the show as Managing Director John Davies commented, “We are always excited to be appearing at The Security Event, but this year we have a particularly impressive array of new products to showcase to visitors. We are especially proud to be launching our new GARDiSVU video management solution which is TDSi’s first cloud-based CCTV offering, and we will have a dedicated pod on Stand 4/G40 to demonstrate the system and its considerable abilities.”
GARDiSVU is a major project for TDSi and provides integration between the GARDiS software platform and the cloud computing engine and CCTV system from fellow VITAPROTECH Group member RECAS. Based upon the powerful Foxstream video analytics engine, GARDiSVU will be available in the UK and internationally, replacing the previous VUgarde solution with an industry leading cloud-based alternative that fully embraces the flexibility and convenience of this approach.
The Security Event is also a great opportunity to learn more about the versatility and flexibility of TDSi’s highly secure GARDiS App. This provides a number of important features for security operators looking to access the GARDiS system via a mobile device, including People Management (add, edit, or delete users from access authorisation), Live Events information, Door Control, and Visual Verification.
The new Version 2.5 of TDSi’s GARDiS software features a number of new integrations with other systems/security providers including Pelco’s VideoXpert, HikVision’s HikCentral platform, and Suprema’s biometric readers. New features include enhanced mantrap/air locking functionality and local anti passback (across a reader or group of readers), departmental (as well as individual) default access levels and additional access permissions for specific groups, along with egress buttons scheduling.
As well as preparing its latest products and updates, TDSi has been busy promoting its forthcoming appearance at The Security Event, as John elaborated, “If you look at the size of the show it has pretty much doubled every year since it launched, and we are looking forward to welcoming even more visitors to our stand this year. We have conducted a lot of pre-show targeted marketing to specific vertical sectors, such as healthcare, education, and construction, as we think it is the perfect opportunity for end users, as well as installers, to see the array of secure access control and integrated security systems that are on offer.”
John added, “If you are attending The Security Event 2023, we will be delighted to welcome you to Stand 4/G40 and to discuss your security needs and pain points. We are also proud to be sponsoring the Happy Hour this year, which is always a great opportunity for people to get together and network at the end of each day’s exhibiting, which is an important part of a face-to-face event like this.”
