Team CCTVdirect brave the storms to complete the Leeds 10K Abbey Dash!

It rained and it poured but nothing stopped Team CCTVdirect from taking part in the Leeds 10K Abbey Dash on Sunday 15th November in support of Martin House Children’s Hospice.

In June, Leeds based CCTVdirect chose the fantastic Martin House Children’s Hospice, who support local families with terminally ill children, as their official corporate charity. Since then the team have set themselves several challenges to raise vital funds, starting with the Abbey Dash 10K. Despite the storm, the team completed the race in fantastic time with some even setting new personal bests!

“I am very proud of Team CCTVdirect. Since we announced that we would be supporting Martin House Children’s Hospice they have fully embraced all the fundraising activities that have been held. The whole team showed great effort at the Abbey Dash and despite it being a first for some they all completed it in fantastic time!” Mark Raine, Managing Director

Through their fundraising for the Abbey Dash, Team CCTVdirect raised over £1200 for Martin House Children’s hospice – but it doesn’t stop there! Over the next few months the Team will be taking part in more races, holding more events and raising even more for Martin House Children’s Hospice.

To support Team CCTVdirect and their fundraising visit their JustGiving page.

The Abbey Dash is held every year in aid of Age UK, another fantastic charity that the team donated over £200 to in entry fees and other donations.
