Texecom has hailed the record time it took to get System 5 Certalarm accreditation from Intertek as a proud moment of recognition for the manufacturer.
The award-winning UK maker of electronic security products has been awarded ISO67 System 5 accreditation and was handed the certificate from Intertek on their stand at IFSEC 2013 at Birmingham’s NEC.
ISO67 System 5 accreditation recognises demanding and extensive quality control and production procedures from manufacturers. Texecom achieved the endorsement in record time, which the company claims shows recognition for its “world-class manufacturing capabilities”.
The accreditation ensures all products are identical in design, performance and construction from the manufacturer as those submitted to third-party accredited test houses for examination.
Jim Ludwig, managing director at Texecom, heralded the System 5 accreditation as a testament to the excellence of products produced and the abilities of Texecom as a whole.
“We are proud to achieve System 5 Certalarm accreditation through Intertek,” he said. “We have always been obsessive about the quality and reliability of our products and achieving System 5 officially recognises our world-class manufacturing capabilities.
“Intertek have excelled by delivering a detail-orientated audit project so quickly”.
The capability of Intertek to deliver quick and efficient System 5 audits to manufacturers was also showcased in the record time achieved.
Daniel Griffin, business development director for Intertek, stated: “Our ability to rapidly assess, advise and review Texecom’s quality and manufacturing processes has been critical in enabling Texecom to achieve System 5 in record time.”
