Grundig, the German electronics manufacturer, will be exhibiting at IFSEC 2011, stand 5/C30, as part of its entry into the UK security market. The company will be demonstrating its latest range of CCTV products, all of which confirm Grundig’s reputation for exceptional functionality, reliability and production quality.

Grundig will be introducing its IP and PAL camera ranges, suitable for internal and external applications. The IP camera functions include intelligent motion detection and full HD 1080 pixel resolution image quality. The Grundig PAL CCTV cameras use sophisticated digital signal processing, have 600 TVL horizontal resolution, Digital Noise Reduction technology and wide dynamic range to improve recording in backlit conditions. Video analytics for motion detection and tracking is built-in. PTZ and anti-vandal dome options are all available.

The advanced Grundig DVR range will also be on display. This includes 8, 16 and 32 channel models; all equipped with a DVD-RW drive and two USB ports. Their advanced functionality allows bespoke, flexible system design and a range of back-up options. The DVRs support up to three monitors, with two models supporting up to six.

Each Grundig DVR is designed for real-time, simultaneous recording on all channels, providing up to 4 CIF resolution. H.264 image compression technology and up to 8 Terabytes of internal hard drive storage ensure that sufficient memory is available for most applications. Back-up options include RAID and Mirror Mode using multiple internal hard drives or via a selection of external hard drive connections. Hard drives are all monitored via the DVR, sending an immediate email alert to a designated security operator, should a hard drive issue occur.

Grundig Control Centre Software is also available for PC or central system management. 64 channels can be simultaneously displayed over two monitors, creating a 128 channel system. Alternatively, three monitors can offer live viewing, administration and a system overview map. Additional software modules add remote monitoring and web-enabled, mobile phone viewing functionality.

Grundig will be demonstrating how its products offer comprehensive functionality, reliability, storage and flexibility to meet the needs of any security application.
