UNION supports National Home Security Month for the third time

UNION, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions, is supporting National Home Security Month 2016 to create awareness around home security for the third consecutive year.

The nationwide initiative that runs throughout October 2016 was launched by UNION’s sister brand Yale, in order to offer tips and advice for keeping families, homes and belongings safe during winter.

Eryl Jones, Managing Director at ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, said:

“We are proud to be supporting National Home Security Month once again. Throughout October 2016 our experienced Product Managers will be offering advice on product testing, quality control and UNION products.”

“We will be producing a guest blog post for the awareness month, which will delve into total home security, exploring traditional security solutions for protecting the entry points to homes and any valuables within properties.”

“UNION’s expertise comes from its rich heritage dating back to 1840, we are pleased to be able to use our knowledge and experience to secure both residential and commercial properties.”

Other supporters of National Home Security Month, include ASSA ABLOY brands: ABLOY, Mul-T-Lock, Yale Door and Windows Solutions, as well as Screwfix, B&Q and Maplin.
