ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions, successfully demonstrated its latest Aperio™ wireless lock technology for access control and its Award winning ecosystem for replacing keys with mobile phones Seos™.

More than 21,000 people attended Intersec Dubai – the leading trade fair for security, safety and fire protection in the Middle East. ASSA ABLOY exhibited both entirely new solutions and further developments of proven products from its HID Global, Abloy, Yale and Traka brands at one booth.

“We are very pleased with the way the show went,” said Damian Marsh, Sales Director Access Control EMEA. “Our visitors were impressed by our access control range and the market listened attentively. We made many interesting contacts – Intersec Dubai was a complete success.”

ASSA ABLOY Access Control put the focus on its global, wireless platform that provides an easy, affordable way to connect additional openings to an existing electronic access control system. Aperio™ uses wireless communication (IEEE 802.15.4) between the lock and an Aperio™ hub to provide real-time communication to the access control system.
This simplifies installation, reducing costs and complexity compared to traditional access control. With real-time authentication and alarms, Aperio™ uses AES 128-bit wireless encryption.
