Winsted’s New Recruit Strengthens Frontline Customer Support

Leading control room furniture manufacturer Winsted Ltd has boosted its frontline customer sales and development support with the appointment of Julie McGill.

Julie joins Winsted’s Business Development team as UK Sales Manager and will be helping to look after the company’s fast expanding customer base, which covers the UK, Europe and Middle Eastern markets. Julie has a strong background in customer service, sales and business development: bringing with her a wide-ranging 25 years’ experience and knowledge.

Commenting on the decision to recruit Julie, Winsted’s General Manager, Terry Shough, explains that Winsted is reacting to its increasing volume of enquiries and sales orders and ensuring this demand is adequately met. “The rising popularity of our equipment means we are investing in increased support to handle our expanding order books and maintain the high standard of Winsted’s frontline customer support in the long-term,” he says.

“Julie’s appointment is part of our on-going business development plan to establish a network of highly motivated and knowledgeable personnel that will reinforce Winsted’s position”.

Commenting on her appointment Julie said ‘I am excited to join such a long lived, very well-regarded company like Winsted, and join a team that is committed to delivering best in class solutions”.
