Leading control room furniture manufacturer, Winsted Europe & Middle East will be returning to IFSEC on stand D1565 launching their new console – The IMPULSE.

The innovative IMPULSE console takes performance and comfort to new heights featuring two surfaces that adjust in height independently of each other. Aesthetically designed in a contouring curve, the consoles two work surfaces can be adjusted from 30” to 46” at the touch of a button. Both work surfaces feature two electric-lift legs and can support 235kgs, thus allowing users to enjoy the health and engagement benefits of being able to switch between sitting and standing and organisations to meet their DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) and DSE (Display screen Equipment) obligations.

Designed specifically as a stock item, the IMPULSE console is available as standard with attractive Graphite Nebular laminated work surfaces with Winsted’s proprietary Safeguard Edge, complete with Winsted’s innovative Versa Trak monitor mounting system – off-the-shelf. Consoles can be used as stand-alone workstations, or combined to create a custom configuration.

Winsted representatives will be on-hand throughout the event to offer the companies FREE design service, discuss customer-specific requirements and provide helpful information and advice on a range of control room-based issues.

Winsted – the company

Since its inception in 1963, Winsted has consistently pioneered console design and development. The company’s product concept and design is driven by industry needs and demands, with many equipped ideas suggested by customers and developed with their input.

A dominant force in the U.S market for nearly 50 years, Winsted expanded into overseas territories in 1975, primarily in the UK, and in 1976 began concentrated efforts to establish distribution in the Middle East.
Winsted’s international distribution was firmly established in 1984 with the formation of Winsted Ltd in Worcestershire, England. Since then Winsted Ltd has become a design and manufacturing facility serving the European, Middle East and African markets.
