Y-cam Solutions Ltd, the leading provider of affordable and easy-to-use remote monitoring products for residential and small-to-medium sized businesses, has joined forces with NAS drive manufacturer Synology to create a number of surveillance bundles perfect for home and business security.

Y-cam and Synology are a “tried and tested” combination, and with the development of the pre-packed bundles, users can easily take advantage of two compatible products working together in perfect harmony. Utilising the rugged approach to surveillance of Y-cam and the multi-tasking expertise of Synology, it couldn’t be easier to master, control and secure homes and businesses.

Devin Chawda, Managing Director of Y-cam, explains, “These bundles offer customers, resellers and installers the perfect opportunity to get on board with two award winning companies. They will be able to exploit the best of both to create a simple, yet dynamic surveillance and storage solution straight out of the box, minus any hassle or worry about compatibility issues. With so many of our customers already taking advantage of this solution it seemed perfect for Y-cam to join with Synology and expand the offering to all of our customers.”

The Y-cam and Synology bundles are available in three varieties; The Grasshopper, ideal for simple home monitoring; The Sensei, built for small business security, and The Master, the ultimate package from Y-cam and Synology, providing maximum security and storage.

The bundles comprise of either two or four Y-cam Knight S cameras (featuring high, quality infrared night vision, Wi-Fi connectivity, motion activated recording  and alert capabilities) teamed up with either a DS211J, DS411J or DS1511+ Synology NAS drive, all providing high quality, scalable and secure back up with cool and quiet operation.

Included within each bundle are enough Synology Surveillance Station licences to allow all purchased Y-cam Knight S cameras to connect seamlessly with the supplied Synology NAS drive. Users can take advantage of Synology’s easy to use network video recording system, Surveillance Station, with their Y-cam cameras, giving them access to the cameras live-view, scheduled video recording plus easy review of each cameras footage with a convenient Time Line bar.

As a bonus, both Y-cam and Synology boast a number of compatible mobile applications, including iPhone and Android applications, offering a remote portal to users into their surveillance and storage solution on the go.

Each of these bundles has been created to offer the perfect ‘out-of-the-box’ solution for a number of situations, whether it may be compact home security, complete business monitoring or a robust and flexible security solution. These bundles meet a plethora of needs for users, as well as being expandable for future growth and scalability.
