Young entrepreneur grills ADT at the Gadget Show 2016
Gadget Show Live is the UK’s largest consumer technology exhibition, where established brands and emerging inventors showcase their products, giving you the opportunity to learn, experience and invest in some of the latest products on the market.
Taking place at the NEC Birmingham from Thursday 31 March 2016 – Sunday 03 April 2016, the show offers the chance to get involved in a whole host of interactive features. One Halesowen based 13 year old took this to the next level. Instead of browsing the gadgets, looking for the latest tech and dreaming, this entrepreneurial youngster – known as Husky – used the show as an opportunity to get interviews for his self-run Technology video blog called Time for Tech.
Researching, choosing, filming, presenting and editing all of his own material, he comes across as a seasoned journalist. However, when this is put to him his reply was “This is my first time interviewing anyone.” It was not just anyone he interviewed, he spotted ADT, part of the Tyco group who just happen to be Halesowen based as well and interviewed Lee from their team. When asked why he interviewed ADT, his response was:
“I love technology and the future of technology. ADT is an interesting company because I am interested in home security technology and the future of home security as it nice to know that with ADT’s technology my gadgets will be safe even when I am not at home.”
