Christie set to debut exciting new products at ISE 2014

christieChristie, a global visual technologies company, will be exhibiting in Hall 1, Stand H50 at ISE 2014. The company is set to debut a number of exciting new products across 500 sq. metres of interactive zonal space, making their presentation unmissable.

Among the new or extended technologies Christie will present examples of ‘True 4K™’ native resolution projectors; Christie Brio presentation system for spontaneous team collaboration; the Q Series 1-chip, dual lamp DLP® projectors, along with extensions to the G single-lamp projector Series; the Entero™ HB front access cube for control rooms; Phoenix™ open content management system (launched to great acclaim at last year’s ISE Show) which allows users to access and control information across multiple platforms and from virtually any location; MicroTiles® and Interactivity Kit, as well as new tiled flat panels, which will be revealed at the show.

As with last year’s ISE, large-scale video mapping, in which Christie excels, will provide the eye candy, drawing visitors onto the stand — but in a major departure from their core technology Christie will also provide ‘ear food’ with the launch of Christie Vive Audio™. Sensing a growing requirement for immersive 3D audio formats to match the immersive visual experience, Vive Audio has further unlocked the potential of the DCI digital cinema audio format.

How will Christie market such a wealth of cutting edge product directed at so many market segments? As part of the company’s pre-show communication for ISE 2014, the company has launched a teaser campaign site called sixplusreasons.com to give delegates a number of compelling reasons to visit their stand and learn more there.

The upgraded Christie G Series boasts 6,000 lumens and a single-lamp design. It is the brightest in its category and provides the exceptional image quality, brightness and dependability that is essential for presentations in board and conference rooms. Each upgraded Christie G Series projector is also equipped with a six-segment colour wheel for the widest possible colour range and more natural, vibrant images. The Christie G Series delivers a cost effective solution combined with long-life DLP® technology.

Christie’s show-debuting 1-chip DLP® Q Series offers brightness options ranging from 8,500 to 10,000 lumens and XGA, WXGA and WUXGA resolutions.  Rental staging customers will notice the Q Series’ difference when blending and warping images from multiple projectors onto flat, curved, hexagonal, or spherical surfaces. Usable in either single or dual-lamp mode, Christie Q Series is equipped with eClarity™ – advanced image processing that significantly enhances images by providing greater image control.

CHRISTIE FLAT PANELS

Last year Christie launched the FHD551-X 55-inch tiled LCD flat panel, with super narrow bezels, later adding the FHD551-W, a weatherproofed version, and the FHD461-X, a 46-inch model. This series has since grown exponentially, responding to market demand with 65-inch and 84-inch versions. The latest QuadHD84 is a stunning 60Hz, 84-inch LCD panel featuring Quad HD resolution (3840 x 2160). Easy-to-use and affordable, the QuadHD84 is a highly professional visualisation display solution.

Further additions to this growing flat panel portfolio will be announced at ISE.

Christie’s Entero™ HB Front Access DLP® LED-based Display Wall Cube enables seamless high performance rear projection video wall displays with minimal installation and maintenance space required. The benefits of Christie’s brightest technology display are available in a platform that allows cubes to be positioned against a rear wall, removing the need for maintenance space behind. The first front-access mode, the Entero HB 70-inch HD, will be joined by other front-access models including 50-inch and 70-inch SXGA+ and 72-inch WUXGA.

CHRISTIE VIVE AUDIO

Vive Audio is a complete audio solution that combines the superior audio qualities of ribbon driver technology with the proven high quality performance of a line array speaker design – matched with powerful Class D amplification.

These screen channel speakers can be combined with Christie subwoofers to create a 3-way, bi-amplified, full range speaker/sub system, ideal as a screen channel, while the Christie CDA Class D amplifiers offer a range of power options to meet a variety of uses.

Away from the stand Christie products will also be shown on a number of Partner booths, including: 7th Sense, coolux, Da-Lite, Draper, Leyard, Oray, Scala, Screengoo, SCREENINT (euroscreen SRL) and Stewart. Christie devices will also have a collateral presence in the ISE Conference Forum, where a Christie Roadster HD20K-J will be in use, while at the EMEA InAVation Awards 2014 three Christie products have been declared as Finalists in the Technology section: namely the Phoenix, D4K with TruLife™ and InControl / Virtual Remote Projector Apps.
