This is a wireless curtain-type motion detector that delivers reliable perimeter protection with exceptional accuracy and a near-zero chance of false alarms. The device’s optical system has narrow viewing sectors and flexible settings. Any movement within the detection zone is analyzed to determine if the threat is real to activate an alarm. When this happens, the device performs a radio wave (RF) scan with a K-band microwave sensor that filters out false alarms caused by thermal noise, animals, or plants. The microwave sensor is more precise than the traditional X-band sensor, energy-efficient, and safe for health. The detector only responds if both PIR and microwave sensors are triggered. When this happens, digital algorithms perform a signal analysis. They filter out natural interferences and animals to decide if an alarm should be raised.

SmartDetect software algorithm filters out thermal interferences when the system is in armed mode. It analyzes IR radiation intensity, thermal spot size, movement speed, and the time it spends in the detection zone to distinguish a human movement from a source of false alarms. Also, Curtain Outdoor Jeweller uses temperature compensation. The detector constantly analyzes the thermal diagram from the PIR sensors and compensates for temperature changes so that the detection is accurate even when the ambient temperature is close to the human body temperature.
