Videonetics announces the appointment of Mr. Bhavin Sheth as Senior Vice President – Engineering, based in Bangalore. With over three decades of global experience in software product development and technology leadership, Bhavin brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic vision to the role.
In this new position, Bhavin will spearhead Videonetics’ engineering function, with a focus on driving innovation, scaling technology platforms, and accelerating product development to meet the evolving needs of smart and secure cities, enterprises, and industrial applications.
Bhavin Seth, with over 30 years of experience, is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience driving innovation, growth, and operational excellence in global organizations and start-ups. Before joining Videonetics, he co-founded EcoAxis, where he led the development of Industry 4.0 solutions that harnessed IoT, mobility, big data, and AI to deliver actionable business intelligence and boost both top- and bottom-line performance for manufacturers worldwide. Earlier at Cisco Systems, he was instrumental in creating a next-generation service delivery platform that transformed digital services in education, healthcare, and transportation sectors across the globe. At Oracle-BEA Systems, Bhavin played a key role in building the offshore development center from the ground up—scaling it to a 150-member team and successfully delivering major product releases His tenure on smart city boards like BSCL and RSCL underscores his deep commitment to public infrastructure and digital innovation.
Educated at Rutgers University, USA, with a master’s degree in Computer Engineering, and an undergraduate degree from Bombay University, Mr. Sheth has also pursued advanced studies in Computational Data Science at IISc, Bangalore and the Internet of Things at MIT, Boston.
