Secutech Vietnam 2025

Secutech Vietnam 2025 returns amid a surge in demand for integrated, intelligent security systems, reflecting Vietnam’s rapid urbanisation and shift toward smart infrastructure

As Vietnam continues to push forward with ambitious infrastructure, urbanisation, and smart city goals, the country’s demand for advanced security solutions has surged accordingly. Secutech Vietnam 2025, set to take place from 14 to 16 August at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, arrives at a pivotal moment. Now in its 18th edition, the event has firmly established itself as the country’s leading professional trade fair for security, fire safety, and smart building technologies. This year’s edition will reflect both the depth and breadth of technological innovation entering the Vietnamese and wider ASEAN markets, offering a critical point of convergence for manufacturers, integrators, end-users, and policymakers.

The exhibition, jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and Vietnam Advertisement and Fair Exhibition JSC (VIETFAIR), is expected to host over 460 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions. Country pavilions from Japan, Korea, and Singapore will feature prominently, representing regional leadership in applied technology and integration across physical and digital security systems. With exhibitors spanning China, Germany, India, the United States, the United Kingdom and beyond, the 2025 edition will facilitate cross-border collaboration at a time when supply chains and security procurement strategies are increasingly global in scope. What differentiates this edition from previous years is the alignment of Vietnam’s internal security challenges—ranging from urban crowd management to critical infrastructure protection—with global trends around automation, convergence, and AI-driven incident response.

Integration of Smart Security, Fire Protection and Urban Infrastructure

At the heart of this year’s show is the increasing fusion between access control, fire safety, and building automation technologies. As urban development accelerates across Vietnam’s Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, public and private sector stakeholders are demanding scalable systems that not only secure physical spaces but also contribute to energy efficiency, operational continuity, and digital oversight. Secutech Vietnam 2025 will spotlight this convergence through three co-located segments: Fire & Safety Vietnam, SMABuilding Vietnam, and the newly introduced ParkTech Vietnam. Each reflects a critical dimension of the broader security ecosystem that Vietnam is working to optimise.

Fire & Safety Vietnam continues to be a key pillar of the show, underscoring Vietnam’s growing regulatory and operational focus on fire risk management. Given the country’s expanding skyline and industrial footprint, compliance standards for fire prevention and emergency response have tightened in recent years. The show is expected to feature a wide array of fire detection, suppression, and evacuation systems—from smoke detectors and sprinklers to integrated command platforms. Alongside this is a rising interest in training and simulation technologies to upskill first responders and safety personnel.

SMABuilding Vietnam represents another strategic area of growth. Vietnam’s building and property sectors are undergoing a transition toward intelligent facility management, with heightened interest in building management systems (BMS), energy monitoring tools, smart lighting, and responsive HVAC integration. What has traditionally been the remit of facility managers is increasingly being overseen by IT and security teams, further collapsing the silos between operational and cyber infrastructure. The segment will provide a window into how next-generation surveillance, real-time data analytics, and automated access controls are being embedded directly into the design and retrofitting of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

ParkTech Vietnam, meanwhile, addresses a more granular but equally pressing urban issue—vehicle congestion and parking logistics. Vietnam’s rapid vehicle growth, particularly in urban hubs like Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, has exposed severe limitations in existing parking infrastructure. Smart parking solutions, license plate recognition, and automated space allocation systems are among the technologies that will be explored in this segment. This new vertical also signals a broader shift in how security platforms are being used to manage not just risk but also urban flow and citizen experience…
