Redline launches Aviation Security HR Vetting Course

Redline Assured Security announced the launch of a new HR vetting course developed specifically for the aviation industry. This sector is renowned for its complex legislation and regulations and the need to conform to requirements set out by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.

Redline are leaders in aviation security training and have developed a two day course for personnel involved with, and responsible for completing mandatory vetting requirements in line with Commission Implementing Regulation EU 2015/1998 Chapter 11 and the Single Consolidated Direction (Aviation) 2016.

Managing Director Craig Harrison said:

“We are really pleased to be able to extend this new course to those involved in aviation recruitment within airports, airlines, regulated agents and suppliers. The course concept was developed on the needs of several of our existing customers who wanted to enlighten and develop their HR personnel to better understand the complexities of aviation vetting.”

The course provides delegates with the knowledge to:

• Implement the legislative requirements concerning compliance in relation to Aviation Security HR regulations
• Understand the “insider threat” and how to manage it
• Assist aviation organisations in reviewing their security arrangements to ensure they are satisfied that the insider risk has been identified and assessed
• Ensure that mitigations are sufficient, and to integrate the management of insiders within the company Security Management System (SeMS) process
