Scan-X Security invest in technology from Nuctech

Scan-X Security, specialists in security screening, security x-ray machines and metal detection archways, has invested in an additional five new x-ray machines from leading manufacturer Nuctech to cater for a surge in demand for their products.

The Midlands based security firm operates globally and has invested over £250,000 over the last twelve months following year on year growth with turnover increasing by 30% in the last year. Scan-X’s new x-ray machines are NUCTECH CX6040BI – a dual-energy x-ray inspection system, widely installed at airports, mass transit stations, critical infrastructures, post offices, and big events around the world.

Due to its high image resolution and most advanced state-of-the-art X-ray imaging technology, CX6040BI is perfectly suitable for security and customs requiring inspections of hand-held baggage, small checked luggage and parcels at airports, rail transportation stations, government offices, stadiums, and courts, etc.

Rob Wallader, Managing Director at Scan-X Security said:

“Our clients are always impressed with the quality of the machines that we provide. The image quality of Nuctech machines is second to none, and we are proud to work with them. Investing in five new machines, takes our total fleet to 30 x-ray machines all with varying capabilities – this combined with our large stock of metal detection archways and handheld detection devices, means that we are well placed to supply any level of security screening rental requirements a company/event may have.”

“Although we are well placed in our market and regularly supply security machinery for the likes of: government contracts, facilities management, asset protection & large scale events, we are proud to provide very a personal service to our clients – there aren’t many business out there do that anymore.”

Scan-X’s most recent client, a leading sporting event in South West London, were the first to use the firm’s new x-ray machines and have been praising their quality. The new machines were made available to rent in March 2016 and with a wealth of clients already showing interest, the team at the leading security business are excited to see what’s in store over the coming year.

As well as priding themselves on their extensive range of security products, the Scan-X team boasts a wealth of experience in the security industry as a whole, and have supplied machines to some of the UK’s largest sporting events, AGM’s, facilities and conferences.
