Abloy UK to showcase transport security solutions, including CLIQ at Multimodal 2017

Security expert Abloy UK to showcase its range of compliant security solutions, such as CLIQ for the transport sector at Multimodal 2017, and inviting visitors to stand 1024 to discuss the evolving challenges faced by the industry and how they can be overcome.

According to the company, it is an expert in this area, having completed projects at Gatwick and Stansted Airports, and also the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in recent years.

Taking place on 4-6 April 2017 at Birmingham’s NEC, Multimodal is the UK and Ireland’s premier freight transport, logistics and supply chain management event.

Abloy will be presenting CLIQ®, a web-based security management solution that allows for the remote management of diverse or large electronic master-keyed sites at any time, from anywhere in the world.

The CLIQ® system provides comprehensive audit trails on cylinders and padlocks, recording who used each key, where and when with the ability to remove permissions quickly and easily for lost or stolen keys from the system, thereby providing secure key management at all times.

The latest innovation of the system – CLIQ® Connect – utilises a revolutionary highly encrypted online management system that uses advanced Bluetooth 4.0 technology, enabling users to update keys wirelessly from their smartphone.

Abloy is also presenting Traka21, a stand-alone key management system, which combines innovative RFID technology and robust design to provide the advanced management of 21 keys or keysets in an affordable plug and play unit.

Abloy’s range of Super Weather Proof padlocks will also be on display. These are the strongest padlocks in the world and are proven to remain secure and fully operational even in the most extreme climate and harshest environmental conditions.

Steve Wintle, Head of Sales – CNI, at Abloy UK, said:

“Multimodal is the ideal event for us to get face-to-face with those responsible for securing facilities, premises and vehicles in the transport sector, and we’re keen to discuss how we can assist in the current challenging climate.
